Mature leaves can become quite large and substantial, with a broad shape, thick texture, and a noticeably quilted or pillowy surface. A deeply impressed central vein gives the leaves additional structure, while varying amounts of fine silver splash may appear across the green surface.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCeereen is also particularly attractive when grown in brighter light. The leaves can develop warm reddish to burgundy coloration, especially around the margins, creating the dark contrasting “eyeliner” effect for which this clone is sometimes appreciated by collectors. The intensity of this coloration depends on growing conditions and should not be expected to remain identical from leaf to leaf.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnlike a formally described Hoya species, Ceereen does not currently have a published botanical description that provides a type locality, native distribution, type specimen, or diagnostic measurements.
