We ship only within the USA. Orders are shipped twice a month, with specific shipping dates reflected on our website. This schedule allows us to ensure that every plant receives the care and attention it needs before being shipped to you.

We do not accept returns or exchanges at hoyacuttings.com. Once a purchase is made, it is final. We encourage our customers to consider their purchases carefully, especially since buying live plants involves certain risks.

What should I do if my plant arrives damaged?

If your plant arrives with significant damage to the foliage due to packaging or shipping mishaps, please contact us immediately at info@hoyacuttings.com. We ask that you inspect your order upon receipt and report any issues with the item being defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can address and rectify the situation promptly.

Are there any requirements for reporting damages or issues?

Yes, for all claims regarding damages or issues, we require photos or other forms of proof to be submitted within 24 hours of delivery. Unfortunately, claims without photo/video proof submitted within this timeframe will be rejected.

Can I get a refund for a damaged plant?

To qualify for a refund, please email us within 24 hours of receiving your package. We assess damage on a case-by-case basis, considering if the plant has suffered beyond minor cosmetic damage or leaf loss, which can be a common occurrence during shipping. Our decision to refund will depend on the extent of the damage.

What happens if my order is delayed, lost, or damaged by the carrier or due to extreme weather conditions?

We cannot offer refunds for orders that are delayed, lost, or damaged by the carrier or affected by extreme weather conditions. By placing an order, you acknowledge these risks and agree to these terms. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Do you combine shipping?

Yes, we combine shipping! We automatically combine shipping for multiple orders placed before the next shipping date. Overcharges are refunded based on the total shipping cost. No need to request it—if you'd prefer not to combine, leave a note with your order or email us at info@hoyacuttings.com

Can I add items to my order after checkout?

Yes, you can add items to your order if requested before the shipping date. Email us at info@hoyacuttings.com with your order number and the item you’d like to add. If the item is still available, we’ll send you an invoice. Please note that orders with unpaid invoices will not be processed.

Do I need to pay extra for insulation and heat packs?

No, insulation and heat packs are included automatically at no extra cost if needed, based on the weather:

  • Between 35F and 50°F: Insulation and heat pack included.
  • Above 85°F: Insulation included.

Important Note: Heat packs do not work if the temperature drops below 32°F. In such cases, we strongly recommend delaying shipping until the weather improves to ensure your plants' safety. Please contact us if you’d like to hold your order due to extreme weather conditions.
