Shipping Policy
We strive to ship orders regularly while ensuring the best possible care for your plants. Our shipping schedule is based on our Phytosanitary Certificate application process, which is required for all plant shipments outside of Texas.
Order Processing & Shipping Schedule
- Orders placed by Wednesday at 8 PM (CST) will be processed starting the following Monday after receiving the Phytosanitary Certificate.
- Orders placed after 8 PM on Wednesday will be processed on the second Monday following the order date.
- This schedule aligns with our inspection and Phytosanitary Certificate application timeline to comply with regulations.
Winter Plant Shipping
To protect plant health, we are limiting plant sales during winter.
1) Cold-state block (no exceptions)
From November–March (or as weather requires), plant checkout is disabled for cold-weather states.
- Customers in blocked states cannot purchase plants during this period.
- Accessories (non-plant items) remain available nationwide.
2) States with cool temps (≤ 50°F / 10°C)
If your state is eligible but the forecast around the ship window is between 40°F and 50°F, we will:
Add insulation + 72/96-hr heat pack by default.
Live-Arrival Guarantee for such orders is available only if you choose to add a Shipment Upgrade at checkout. In that case, if your plant arrives on time and is dead on arrival, we refund the plant price (shipping not included).
Live arrival guarantee requirements (to qualify):
Message us within 2 hours of the first delivery scan with:

a clear unboxing photo or video from an unopened box → plant out,
-
photos of the packing and the plant in the original medium and packaging.
Live arrival guarantee is void for: incorrect/forwarded addresses, missed delivery, packages left outside, PO Boxes/lockers, carrier delays, and if the plant was repotted or cut into pieces.
We may cancel plant orders if a cold snap makes shipping unsafe.
3) How we determine eligibility
We review forecast lows at our origin, major carrier hubs, and your delivery ZIP for the planned ship window. If any leg is unsafe or your state is blocked, plant checkout will be unavailable, and the order may be canceled and refunded.
4) Communication
Checkout will show eligibility automatically. If the weather changes after purchase, we’ll notify you and either hold the order until it's safe or cancel and refund (plants only; non-plants ship as usual).
Combined Orders & Multiple Shipments
We do combine orders to help customers save on shipping costs. However:
- If the number of plants in an order makes it unsafe or inconvenient to ship everything in one box, we may split the shipment into multiple packages.
- If a shipment requires additional boxes, we will determine the best way to send your order safely and efficiently.
