Unrooted cutting of Hoya 'Grey Fairy'.
One node.

Hoya 'Grey Fairy' is a distinctive silver-foliaged mutation of Hoya 'Mathilde', the well-known Hoya carnosa × Hoya serpens hybrid.

According to its U.S. plant patent, 'Grey Fairy' originated as a spontaneous branch mutation discovered in April 2021 on a cultivated Hoya 'Mathilde' at a nursery in Chuzhou, China. It was subsequently propagated from vegetative cuttings and selected for its stable silver-white foliage.

Unlike typical Hoya 'Mathilde', which produces green foliage with varying amounts of silver splash, 'Grey Fairy' is distinguished by leaves that develop an extensive, stable silver-white coloration. The small, rounded foliage retains the characteristic shape and compact appearance associated with 'Mathilde'.

The International Cultivar Registration Authority for Hoya recognizes 'Grey Fairy' as an accepted and established cultivar name.

Size of the cutting

Cuttings are one node by default, unless otherwise stated. Some may have additional nodes/growth points depending on propagation time, but most will be single-node due to high demand on certain varieties. More about the size here.

Preparation Time

Most of the cuttings are pre-rooted. This ensures that the plant material is in optimal condition for transit and subsequent planting.
