Hoya 'Elena' VH-02-16 is a selected Indonesian hybrid from Hoya sp. 'Rindu Rafflesia' × Hoya crassipetiolata. Developed by Vernonia Nursery, this particular clone stands out for its long, elegant foliage with pointed tips and a beautifully soft, matte surface.

The elongated leaves can develop an unusually pale silver-green appearance with subtle venation and darker green margins, giving the plant a very clean and distinctive look.

One parent, Hoya sp. 'Rindu Rafflesia' (also circulated as Hoya sp. Bengkulu/DD001), originates from Sumatra, Indonesia, while Hoya crassipetiolata is a species native to Vietnam.

The clone number VH-02-16 is important: another unrelated Hoya has also circulated under the name 'Elena', so we keep the original accession with the name to preserve this plant's identity.
