Hoya kerrii (Silver) is a heavily silvered form of Hoya kerrii, the well-known species recognized for its thick, distinctly heart-shaped leaves.

In this collector form, the foliage can develop an extensive silvery-green to almost completely silver surface, sometimes with only subtle green mottling, speckling, or darker areas remaining. The thick, succulent-like leaves retain the characteristic heart shape of Hoya kerrii while giving the plant a very different appearance from the standard green form.

Hoya kerrii has an interesting botanical history. The species was named for Arthur Francis George Kerr, a physician and botanist who collected the plant in Thailand. A type specimen was collected at Doi Suthep near Chiang Mai in 1911, and William Grant Craib formally published Hoya kerrii later that same year.
