The foliage is somewhat larger and more substantial than many of the petite Hoya lacunosa forms commonly grown in collections. Leaves are green and may develop warmer bronze, copper, or burnt-orange tones when exposed to brighter light.

One of the characteristics frequently reported for 'Fraser Hills' is its flowering. Growers describe the flowers and umbels as noticeably larger than those of many typical Hoya lacunosa selections while retaining the familiar fuzzy appearance and strong, pleasant fragrance associated with the species.
