Hoya lacunosa OAK-022 is a distinctive collector selection of Hoya lacunosa known for its elongated, heavily silvered foliage.

Unlike many Hoya lacunosa forms with small rounded or oval leaves, OAK-022 produces noticeably longer, narrower leaves. The foliage develops an extensive silver overlay.

One of the characteristics we particularly notice in our plant is the pronounced longitudinal texture of the leaves. Rather than appearing completely flat and smooth, the foliage develops visible ribbing or channeling along its length, which gives the long silver leaves additional dimension.

OAK-022 is currently circulated by multiple Hoya sellers under this accession-style name. We have not been able to document what the OAK designation represents, who originally selected or introduced this plant, or whether genetically identical material may also circulate under another horticultural name. For that reason, we retain the OAK-022 designation under which the plant is known in our collection.
