Unrooted cutting of Hoya merrillii (variegated).
One node.
The colors of the leaves may differ depending on the amount of light the plant receives.
Hoya merrillii (Variegated) is a variegated form of Hoya merrillii, an accepted Hoya species native to the Philippines.
The species has a particularly nice documented history. The type specimen was collected by American botanist Elmer D. Merrill in Pola, Mindoro, in May 1903, and Hoya merrillii was formally described by Rudolf Schlechter in 1904.
The variegated form is especially striking for its broad, substantial foliage with irregular cream-to-yellow inner variegation surrounded by green margins. The pattern can vary considerably from leaf to leaf, with some leaves retaining more green while others develop large pale central areas. Under stronger light, the foliage may also develop bronze, red, or pink coloration.
The non-variegated species is known for glossy green foliage and clusters of waxy yellow flowers. The variegated form is generally expected to retain the flowering characteristics of the species, although we prefer not to guarantee flower color or other bloom characteristics until observed on our own plant.

Size of the cutting
Cuttings are one node by default, unless otherwise stated. Some may have additional nodes/growth points depending on propagation time, but most will be single-node due to high demand on certain varieties. More about the size here.
Preparation Time
Most of the cuttings are pre-rooted. This ensures that the plant material is in optimal condition for transit and subsequent planting.
Appearance
Hoyas are often sold as single-node cuttings. Photos are provided to show the general appearance of the plant's foliage and may not represent the exact cutting you’ll receive. When available, details about cutting length are included in the product description. More on type on the cutting info here.
Note
The photos are provided to show the plant’s foliage more clearly—please note that we’re selling a one-node cutting by default.
