Hoya mindorensis (Inner Variegated) is a beautifully variegated form of Hoya mindorensis, a climbing Hoya native to the Philippines and parts of Borneo.

Its foliage develops broad cream to pale-yellow variegation through the center of the leaf, framed by irregular green margins. Under brighter growing conditions, the foliage may also develop pink or reddish coloration.

The species Hoya mindorensis was described by Rudolf Schlechter in 1906 and is particularly known for its unusual flower clusters. Typical H. mindorensis produces dense umbels of reflexed, star-shaped flowers with conspicuous fine hairs, while flower color varies considerably among different forms of the species.

We have not confirmed the flower color of this particular inner-variegated clone, so we prefer not to assign a bloom color until it has been observed on our plant.
