Hoya occultata (Silver) is a heavily silvered form of Hoya occultata, a species native to Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Hoya occultata was formally described relatively recently, in 2020, by Sri Rahayu and Michele Rodda. It is unusual among Hoyas for its shrubby growth form and produces white to yellowish flowers with a bell- to urn-shaped corolla.

The species name occultata means "hidden" or "concealed" and refers to the unusual flower structure, in which the inner corona is largely enclosed and hidden by the corolla.

This silver form is especially striking for its elongated foliage covered with irregular silver speckling, patches and, on some leaves, extensive silver overlay. The amount and distribution of silver can vary naturally from leaf to leaf.
