Hoya sp. Aceh 'Dragon Egg' is a rare unidentified collector Hoya associated in cultivation with Aceh, northern Sumatra, Indonesia.

This plant is grown primarily for its remarkable foliage. Mature leaves are thick and substantial with deeply impressed, prominent venation that creates a sculptural, almost quilted surface. The leaves are generally broad and oval to somewhat egg-shaped, which inspired the trade name 'Dragon Egg'.

Leaf shape can be surprisingly variable. Some leaves may be more rounded, others more pointed, and mature foliage may develop slightly irregular or gently ruffled margins. Subtle splash or speckling may also appear on some leaves.
