Unrooted cutting of Hoya 'Lotus Bean' (MYB 2021-02).
Two to three nodes.
Hoya 'Lotus Bean' (MYB 2021-02) is an uncommon collector Hoya circulated under its distinctive MYB accession-style designation.
It produces attractive oval to rounded green leaves with irregular silver splash. The silver can range from fine scattered flecking to larger markings, giving individual leaves noticeably different patterns.
The plant has a relatively delicate vining habit, with the combination of compact foliage and silver-speckled leaves making it particularly attractive as the vines mature.
'Lotus Bean' is circulated separately from Hoya 'Wing Bean' (MYB 2021-01), another Hoya carrying a closely related MYB designation.
The amount of silver splash, leaf shape and coloration may vary from leaf to leaf and with growing conditions.
A note about this plant: Hoya 'Lotus Bean' is currently circulated as MYB 2021-02, but we have not located reliable original documentation identifying the originator, parentage or botanical species behind this selection. We therefore retain the name and designation under which the plant is established in cultivation rather than assigning it to a species or hybrid parentage that cannot be verified.
Size of the cutting
Cuttings are one node by default, unless otherwise stated. Some may have additional nodes/growth points depending on propagation time, but most will be single-node due to high demand on certain varieties. More about the size here.
Preparation Time
Most of the cuttings are pre-rooted. This ensures that the plant material is in optimal condition for transit and subsequent planting.
Appearance
Hoyas are often sold as single-node cuttings. Photos are provided to show the general appearance of the plant's foliage and may not represent the exact cutting you’ll receive. When available, details about cutting length are included in the product description. More on type on the cutting info here.
Note
The photos are provided to show the plant’s foliage more clearly—please note that we’re selling a one-node cutting by default.
