Hoya lacunosa 'Gayung' is a distinctive Hoya lacunosa known for its dark green foliage and exceptionally heavy silver splash.

The leaves develop irregular silver speckling, patches, and marbling, with some leaves becoming much more heavily silvered than others. The contrast between the dark green background and bright silver markings gives 'Gayung' a particularly bold appearance compared with many other Hoya lacunosa selections.

'Gayung' is also frequently circulated as a somewhat larger-leaved lacunosa form. Individual leaves may vary in size, shape, and the amount of silver they produce.

Our stock of Hoya lacunosa 'Gayung' was obtained from The Bee Hoyas and is propagated under the same name in our collection.

Hoya lacunosa itself is an accepted species native from southern Myanmar through western and central Malesia and was formally published by Carl Ludwig Blume in 1827.
