The leaves can develop a soft mint-green to silvery appearance, often with very little visible dark green. What makes this selection especially unusual is the surface of the mature foliage: as the leaves harden, they may develop a finely dimpled or pebbled texture reminiscent of the skin of an orange — the characteristic that gives 'Orange Peel' its name.
