Hoya lacunosa (Inner Variegated) is a beautiful variegated form of Hoya lacunosa with petite foliage and highly variable cream-to-yellow centers surrounded by green margins.

The variegation can change considerably from leaf to leaf. Some leaves may retain a larger amount of green, while others develop broad pale centers with irregular green markings. New growth may emerge with attractive pink, peach, or reddish tones before gradually maturing into its green and cream coloration.

Hoya lacunosa is an accepted species native from southern Myanmar through parts of Southeast Asia and Malesia. It was formally published by Carl Ludwig Blume in 1827.

Mature Hoya lacunosa produces clusters of small, fuzzy, star-shaped flowers and is especially well known among growers for its noticeable fragrance.
