Hoya lacunosa 'Golden Flame' is a colorful collector selection of Hoya lacunosa known for its warm yellow-to-golden inner variegation.

The petite leaves typically develop darker green margins surrounding an irregular yellow, chartreuse, or golden center. The pattern can change noticeably from leaf to leaf: some leaves may be predominantly green with a narrow area of yellow, while others develop broad, bright golden centers. 

The variegation tends to have a warmer, more yellow-green appearance than the creamy or whitish coloration seen in some other inner-variegated Hoya lacunosa selections. This warm coloration is the characteristic most associated with the name 'Golden Flame'.

Like other Hoya lacunosa selections, mature plants are expected to produce clusters of small, fuzzy, pale flowers with the fragrance for which the species is well known.
