Hoya lacunosa 'Queen Midori' is an inner-variegated selection of Hoya lacunosa known for its bright yellow-to-lime centers and contrasting dark green margins.

The variegation can vary considerably from leaf to leaf. Some leaves may develop a narrow yellow stripe through the center, while others become predominantly yellow with only a relatively thin green border. As the foliage matures, the contrast between the darker green margins and golden center can become especially pronounced.

In our collection, 'Queen Midori' tends to show stronger and more prominent yellow variegation than several similar inner-variegated Hoya lacunosa selections. Individual leaves can still vary widely, so the plant may produce both heavily variegated and greener growth on the same vine.

The exact origin and introducer of 'Queen Midori' do not appear to be well documented in publicly available sources. The name is, however, well established in the international Hoya trade.
