Unrooted cutting of Hoya microdwarf NS12-323.
Three to five nodes.
Hoya sp. NS12-323 (Microdwarf) is an unidentified collector Hoya known for its exceptionally tiny foliage and delicate, closely spaced growth.
The leaves are miniature, oval to slightly elongated, and marked with pale, web-like venation that stands out against the green surface. Depending on growing conditions, the foliage may also develop warmer bronze, peach, pink, or reddish tones, especially on newer growth.
Despite the name “Microdwarf,” the plant itself can produce surprisingly long vines. What remains miniature is the foliage: the tiny leaves and relatively close spacing give the plant a fine, almost lace-like appearance.
NS12-323 is an accession-style designation rather than a botanical species name. The exact species identity, original collection locality, and meaning of the NS12-323 code do not appear to be well documented in publicly available sources.
One particularly interesting mystery is the flower. As of the information we were able to find, specialist growers still report no reliably documented bloom for NS12-323, so its flower shape and coloration remain uncertain.
Name in cultivation: Hoya sp. NS12-323
Common trade name: Microdwarf
Species identification: Undetermined
Notable features: Exceptionally tiny leaves with prominent pale venation, close foliage spacing, and potential bronze-to-pink coloration
Please note that leaf size, coloration, internode length, and the visibility of the venation may vary under different growing conditions.
A note about this plant: The accession, naming, identity, and horticultural information above was gathered from publicly available online sources. We have not found original collection, accession, or botanical identification documentation explaining the NS12-323 designation or establishing the exact natural origin of this plant. Flowering also remains poorly documented, so we cannot independently confirm or deny its complete botanical history.
Size of the cutting
Cuttings are one node by default, unless otherwise stated. Some may have additional nodes/growth points depending on propagation time, but most will be single-node due to high demand on certain varieties. More about the size here.
Preparation Time
Most of the cuttings are pre-rooted. This ensures that the plant material is in optimal condition for transit and subsequent planting.
Appearance
Hoyas are often sold as single-node cuttings. Photos are provided to show the general appearance of the plant's foliage and may not represent the exact cutting you’ll receive. When available, details about cutting length are included in the product description. More on type on the cutting info here.
Note
The photos are provided to show the plant’s foliage more clearly—please note that we’re selling a one-node cutting by default.
